Nightly Maintenance between 9 PM - 10 PM.

Use Internet Explorer 6.0 version or above

Answer the questions on each page to the best of your ability. If you're using this web site for someone else, answer the questions as you would if you were that person.

You'll see some questions with a star (* ) next to them. You must answer these questions before going to the next page.

Please do not use the Forward, Back or Stop buttons on your browser. Instead, use the buttons at the bottom of each page.
You can click on these to move between pages.
Navigating the ODJFS BENEFIT Application
You will see Progress buttons along the left side of each screen. When you begin the application, they will all be Blue. As you complete a section, they will turn Green.

You will use the Next, Previous and Save & Exit buttons to move from question to question within each section.

As you complete a section, the button on the left menu will turn green. The green buttons allow you to return to a completed section to change or add more information to that section.
Next Next Button Image only The Next button is used to move forward through questions and information pages. This button saves your information before moving to the next question or page.
Previous Previous Button Image only The Previous button is used to move backward through questions and information pages. This button saves your information before moving to the previous question or page.
Help Web Page Help Button Image only The Help button is used to open a new page containing descriptions and instructions about the items on the current page.
Save & Exit Save and Exit Button Image only The Save & Exit button appears only when applying for benefits. This button doesn't appear when reporting a change to an existing case. This button is used to save your application and return you to the Ohio Online Benefits Home page.
Reset Reset Button Image only The Reset button is used to undo changes to the information on a page that have not been saved. Once that information has been saved by clicking Next, Previous, or Save & Exit the information cannot be reset and must be changed manually.
Cancel Cancel Button Image only The Cancel button is only available on the Person Information page. This button allows you to exit from this page if you arrived here by mistake.
Remove Individual from Case Remove Individual from Case Button Image only The Remove Individual from Case button is only available on the household member summary page (Change Reporting Mode only). This button allows the removal of a household member from the CRISE case, by entering the date the individual left the household.
Remove Remove Button Image only The Remove button is only available on the summary pages. This button allows the removal of the detail item associated with it.
Change Change Button Image only The Change button is only available on the summary pages. This button allows you to change the detail item associated with it.
Delete Application Delete Application Button Image only The Delete Application button appears only when applying for benefits. This button allows you delete the entire application. If the application is deleted, you will have to start a new application from the beginning.
Print Application Print Application Button Image only The Print Application button is used to view the information you have entered as a formal state document and to print it in this format.
Print Page Print Page Button Image only This Print Page button is used to print information on the current page. When printing, the paper orientation should be set to landscape.

To set the paper orientation with the browser menu, select File and then click Page Setup. A Page Setup window will appear on the screen. In the Orientation section of the Page Setup window, select Landscape and click OK.
Log Off Log Off Button Image only The LogOff button is used to leave the Ohio Online Benefits Application. This button does not save the information on the current page before leaving the application.
Add Button Log Off Button Image only This Added button is used to indicate that a person has been added to the house hold.
Change Button Log Off Button Image only This Changed button is used to indicate that an information has been changed.
No Change Button Log Off Button Image only This No Changed button is used to indicate that an information has stayed the same.
Left House hold Log Off Button Image only This Left House Hold button is used indicate that a person has left the house hold.
Start Start Section Button Image only The Start button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Client Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
People People Section Button Image only The People button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the People Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Relationships Relationships Section Button Image only The Relationships button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Relationship Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Assets Asset Section Button Image only The Assets button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Assets Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Income Income Section Button Image only The Income button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Income Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Housing Expenses Housing Expense Section Button Image only The Housing Expenses button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Housing Expense Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Other Expenses Other Expense Section Button Image only The Other Expenses button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Other Expense Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Financial Aid Financial Aid Section Button Image only The Financial Aid button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Financial Aid Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Absent Parent Information Absent Parent Button Image only The Absent Parent Information button is enabled when it is green and allows you to return to the Absent Parent Summary page. From this summary page you can choose to review, change or delete previously entered information or to add new information.
Finish Finish Request Section Button Image only The Finish button is enabled when it is green and allows you to continue to the Rights and Responsibilities page. The Rights and Responsibilities page is the first step in submitting your application. Please review all of the rights and responsibilities before submitting your application.
